NEW ZEALAND TAG FOOTBALL

Tag Football has experienced remarkable growth in recent years and stands as one of the most popular summer sports across all age groups, particularly within schools.

The sport appeals to a wide demographic, ranging from ages 5 to 60, encompassing both males and females of all fitness and skill levels. The 18-35 age group represents the highest participation rate, including both men and women. Tag Football is especially popular among the 5-18 age group and has recently become the most diverse sport in schools.

New Zealand Tag Football Incorporated (NZTFI) has been operating as a not-for-profit sports organisation since 2009. Recognised by Sport New Zealand and the International Tag Federation, NZTFI is the official governing body for the delivery and development of tag football across Aotearoa.
